Challenge
Tequila is a relatively uncommon drink in India and most people are unaware of its legacy, versatility and flavour profile
Insight
Everyone associates tequila with just one drink – shots!
Intended Outcome
Our key objective was to make people aware of how tequila goes beyond the obvious and can be enjoyed in a variety of ways. Simultaneously, we also aimed to drive conversation about the same on our page leading up to World Tequila Day.
Idea
If people think of tequila as just a shot, the best way to flip the narrative is to make them state it and then change their perception, right? And that’s exactly what we did with our #MoreThanJustAShot campaign!
Implementation
A vox pop-style video posing just one question to various people helped establish the narrative of our campaign. Because when we asked them “What comes to your mind when we say tequila” they unanimously said Shots! We broke the perception with a series of social assets that conveyed information about all things tequila with fun, engaging and interactive formats.
And that’s how we celebrated World Tequila Day in a unique way!
